                       I just wanted to say thank you so much for giving us a great time. Since we live on the coast, we get to fish a lot. Through time, you realize that "you have to get that limit" attitude isn't what its really about. Even though we did get our limit (in which my dad, Dalton, and myself are very grateful for because you busted your butt until 5:00pm to get it for us.) It would have been a great trip with half the fish. I'm most thankful for your friendliness toward us and how you made my dad and Dalton feel. I felt like your friend when we left the boat. We do guides from time to time. This by far is not a common practice. We still laugh about my dad falling out of the back chair. Good memories.  If you would have us, I hope we can book another trip again. Thanks again for making all 3 of us smile.

Cliff, this was my first expierence with a guided trip and I have to say I can't wait to go again. I really appreciate the way you kept the conservation going and the patience you had with Robert and I as we are both amateurs at fishing. Hitting our limit was pretty cool as well. The recipe you gave with the mustard for fillets was a hit as well. You can bet that when it's time for another trip, you'll be the one I call. Thanks again for a very enjoyable expierence.

I took my dad and daughter fishing with Cliff for her birthday. My 11 year old daughter caught the youth record blue cat eclipsing the record by 11 pds and dad caught his first ever catfish. Cliff is an outstanding guide with his attention and focus to insure my daughter caught fish and had a good time far exceeded his fees.  There was a short moment there when I didn't know who was more excited about her fish; the guide, me or her. That was the moment I knew Cliff was the guide I will continue to use and reccomend to everyone. If you have kids (even if you don't) Cliff is definitely the guide to use. My daughter has thanked me a 1,00o times for the trip but I was the one who recieved the biggest gift today- worth more than a cooler full of fish.

  I met up with Cliff Monday at Calaveras to fish an evening trip. I planned this trip as a purely educational trip and ended up limiting out on cats. I sponged up the knowledge and learned what to look for as well as my limit. I actually love the type of fishing Cliff does on his trips and it was great for him to show me and cost effective methods as well. I can honestly say, this was by far the best guided trip I have ever been on, and plan on telling all of my fellow Aggies about it.
