Offering Guided Trips on Lake Calaveras and Guadalupe River

Catfishing Trips
Lake Calaveras,Braunig,Guadalupe River Chain Lakes and Choke Canyon are Premier South Texas' catfishing destinations. They hold a healthy supply of channel, blue and yellow catfish that can be effectively caught year round. On most trips I will introduce various methods that have proven successful for catching catfish time and time again. I specialize in catfishing trips and enjoy turning anglers onto fishing for catfish.  On our trips we defy what most people think of when they think catfishing. Calaveras,Braunig and Choke Canyon offers a variety of successful methods to catch fish.Shallow water catfishing can yield alot of fast and fun action. Fishing the "birds" or commorant roosts is another effective technique I apply that yields fish. Our clients hold records on every one of these lakes if not multiple records. I will also fish deep on structure using my electronics (sonar) as another effective method in locating fish depending on current conditions of the lake and weather. You will not find yourself anchored down in one spot for hours waiting for the fish to come to you on our trips, I focus on finding the active feeding fish using state of the art electronics, experience and years of knowledge on these bodies of water.
I will cater to your needs on any trip and can accomodate any skill level of fishing. If you simply want to learn the any lake, spots that hold fish year round, learn how and where to catch shad, how to use different types of catfish baits, target monster blue cats or catch a cooler full for a fish fry, I will do my best to fulfill your needs and expectations.
All catfish over 15 pounds will be released. I will take multiple photo's of the fish and measure it for a replica or TPW Big Fish Award if you desire. There will be ample amounts of eating size fish being caught on your trip.
